Omar and his wife Vilma on Christmas Eve. we will miss him dearly! We all arrived home on Fri. the 5th. It was a bittersweet day. About an hour after Juan and Carey got home, we received a phone call from our friend Claudia that Omar (director of the hogar) passed away. We will miss him dearly. He was Juan's father figure for many many years. The community in San Nicolas lost a great man! Our prayers go out to Omar's family.
On happy note: Juan and I are doing well adjusting. I have been making phone calls and driving Juan around to play soccer! This week he has started working with Carey at his job. It is great to see him come home tired and dirty! I have looked around for some English classes also. As the weeks go on, we will find a nice schedule for Juan which will include soccer, English and working!
I am enjoying being back home spending time with the dogs and catching up with friends. I am getting use to do all the "household" THINGS! Carey is happy we are home!
